The ECCAFV Education & Training Institute would like to invite you to participate in the “Understanding Orders of Protection” Training.

This training will address;

  • What are Orders of Protection (OP), and how they can assist victims of domestic violence
  • Obtaining an Order of Protection from Criminal Court, Family Court, and Integrated Domestic Violence Court (IDV)
  • What to do if an Order of Protection is violated
  • The role of community-based and systems advocates
  • How advocates and professionals can assist a victim be safe with or without an OP
